Every so often an extraordinary event occurs where people rise up in authentic and legitimate protest against tyranny such as happened in 1989 in Tiananmen Square or in recognition that a long-lasting tyranny has ended. We saw something of the latter in the waning days of the USSR especially as the throngs of people from both parts of Berlin finally tore down their wall just five months after Tiananmen. Hopefully we'll see something of the same in China in the not too distant future. Here's a good collection of links at War News Updates.
