“This demographic landscape is likely to get worse. China’s ratio of workers to retirees is likely to “drop precipitously” from roughly 5:1 today to 2:1 in 2030, according to Wang Feng, director of the Brookings-Tsinghua Center in Beijing.”

Comment: Another indicator that the surface story aggressively promoted by China re its economic might is a house of cards. China has massive ‘bubble’ problems in several of its key economic sectors, endemic corruption, ecological problems, demographic problems, and internal stability problems. They have very few of the stabilizing system/structural strengths enjoyed by the U.S.
