Impotence Abroad
“Prestige is a key part of any political and diplomatic arsenal, and serious statesmen try to acquire it.”

Comment: The world does not appreciate nor value an apologetic, supplicating, hesitant “superpower.” No country desires to align with a weakling nor place its future at risk by siding with a power unlikely to champion important issues against strong-minded opponents. We must never forget this.
