The week that Europe stopped pretending

The week that Europe stopped pretending - Ambrose Evans-Pritchard

Comment: A dire article by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard that cuts to the heart of Europe’s death-spiral. If there is a silver lining to Europe’s condition it is in the opportunity for the U.S. After all, where else will businesses make investments? China is problematic; Russia is dying; the Middle East is blowing itself up; the emerging markets of Africa, Latin America and much of Asia aren’t sufficiently mature or stable. If we can just get our act together at the national level with a viable plan for the future, the 21 Century will be just as much America’s as was the 20th.
